My name is Daniel Meza. I’ve been a photographer for over 15 years. I’ve gone through many iterations of style and substance but I think I’m really honing my craft to what I’m best at, which is documenting life as it happens with a keen eye for paying attention and doing whatever it takes to get the shot in that moment. You can often find me standing in chairs or laying on the ground when I’m in photography mode.
Whether it’s traveling or watching my son grow up, life is full of imperfect moments that capture my imagination and tell the story of my life and those around me.
Professionally, I’m a high school photography teacher and yearbook advisor. This blog is not only my portfolio and record of my life but my example for my students that photography is a gateway for opportunity.
You gotta practice what you preach.
